July 2026 – Green Horizon Capital Partners (GHP) is delighted to announce that it served as the exclusive financial advisor to Grath, an innovative fintech recognised for its AI-driven approach to reconciliation and compliance challenges in financial services, on its sale to AutoRek, the leader in enterprise financial controls and reconciliation automation and a portfolio company of Scottish Equity Partners (SEP).
Founded in 2019 and headquartered in London, Grath is a financial services technology company building reconciliation and regulatory compliance software and infrastructure. Serving banks, payment providers, brokers and fintechs from offices in the UK, UAE and Australia, its multi-tenant SaaS platform enables rapid deployment of FCA-aligned governance without standing up customers' own infrastructure. Earlier this year, Grath launched Topa, enabling financial services teams to integrate a matching engine, FS-trained machine learning models and an agentic reasoning layer for exception handling directly into their own systems.
The acquisition gives customers new AI-enabled capabilities for automated reconciliation and greater flexibility to choose the operating model that best fits their regulatory requirements, technology strategy and deployment preferences. Together, AutoRek and Grath provide a single partner able to meet a broader range of needs across the full reconciliation lifecycle, from data ingestion and matching through controls, risk and compliance management, all within a single, governed control framework. The transaction also furthers AutoRek's international expansion strategy by adding Grath's US client base and extending its presence in the Middle East through Grath's UAE client base.
This transaction builds upon GHP's strong position across the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) sector. Other transactions completed by the GHP team include, the sale of Vectice to Anaconda, the sale of Moody's Regulatory Reporting & ALM Solutions to Regnology, the sale of Matterhorn Reporting to FE fundinfo, CUBE's acquisition of 4CRisk, the sale of RegRoom to Cube Global, the sale of RegEd to Gryphon and advising KOR on its Series B minority funding round led by Macquarie Capital Venture Capital.
